AAUW, advancing equity for women and girls since 1881, is a long-standing, non-partisan and non-profit organization.  With a thousand branches, its mission is gender equity and economic security.  We are inclusive, inter-generational, and empowering.  We strive to remove social biases and economic barriers that stand in the way of women and girls getting ahead.

The members of the Weston Branch aim to:

• recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of women and girls.
• train and support women and girls to achieve their full potential.
• alert the public about the gender inequities.
• educate the public about issues affecting the community

We are tenacious and trailblazing – advocating for women and girls since 2007 and into the future.

We welcome members and friends from our neighboring cities — Coral Springs, Davie,  Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Sunrise and Tamarac.
